The Dub at Glastonbury 2008








Well.....

Over a year on and a lot has happened....

1) I am now a third of my way through an IMI national diploma in Automotive Engineering. The course is excellent, great tutors, fantastic structure, and a good mix of practical theory and associated studies. So far I am a straight distinction pupil! I'm loving studying a topic that I have a passion for.

2) The VW is back. It has an MOT!!! It is registered, and now has an age related UK plate CRX 644M. We can't believe it's here on home turf and parked outside!!!.

3) I have purchased Propellorhed Reason for My Mac, witha view to trying my hand at music production. So far i have spent about 100 hours perfecting my drum and thor synth loops, it's truely mind-boggling, but soooooooo much fun. The possibilites are Infinite!!

My plans from here are for a personal diary. I have had an oversion to any blog updating since returning from our travels. I associate blogging with a care free time in our lives, and the last 14 months have been the absolute opposite of that, hence my silence. But life is great, progress is being made and our goals are getting ever closer.

The Goals.....

1) Qualification in Automotive Mechanics.......

After much reasearch, the decision has been made, a City and Guilds flexible start course in Automotive maintenence and repair. (4101) REASONS.
A.)Part time will enable me to work at a garage to combine practical work with study.
B.)The flexible course will allow me to accelerate my learning should I be able to.
C.)I can combine study with earning.

2) The venture in to music production........

REASONS
A.) large enough memory to run the required music program.
B.) Comes with garage band which has some great sound and functions.
C.) Good external sound adapters available.
D.) 24inch screen, so we can use it instead of a TV!!
